Qualifications

Yu-Chi is a registered Psychologist in Australia and a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Taiwan. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Monash University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology.

Work Experience

Yu-Chi brings extensive clinical and research experience across private practice, multidisciplinary allied health, teaching hospital, and academic research settings in both Australia and Taiwan. He has experience supporting adolescents and adults with a diverse range of complex psychological presentations.

Yu-Chi previously held two postdoctoral research appointments: one at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney, and another at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research. His research and clinical work focused on clinical assessment, treatment outcomes, neurodevelopmental and psychiatric presentations, major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disturbance, cognition, and the relationship between brain-based differences and everyday functioning. Grounded in the scientist-practitioner model, Yu-Chi’s therapeutic style is evidence-based, warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and deeply client-centred.
