Qualifications

Anahita is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing since 1996. She has degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts and Master of Clinical Psychology.

Work Experience

Having previously worked for ten years in the Disability service, Anahita specializes in adult mental health and has worked in this field for the last sixteen years. Anahita enjoys balancing her practice between the public health and private health systems and has an extensive knowledge of mental illnesses and treatment expertise grounded in evidence based individualized therapy and group therapy.

Anahita has been a presenter at several workshops, psychology training sessions and conferences. Management of PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Addictive disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar Disorders are her areas of specific experience. Psychological assessment and education are integral to providing psychotherapy interventions to clients to facilitate them achieving their goals.
